About us
We are a new small family business based in West Wales. Our experience in hot-tubs stretches over 10 years. I started running my own tub 5 years ago and there are already 8 of our hot-tubs out there. Not bad for a company formed just before Christmas 2004.
History
In 1993 I visited Iceland (that small cold island north west of the UK, not the supermarket). I cycled through the centre of the island and around its circumference. The days were long and hard! In the evening I would find a natural pool and sit in the hot water for most of the evening, reflecting, relaxing and watching the snow fall around me. When I arrived home in the UK I sought out hot tubs and was disappointed to find them all very expensive and very plastic! Not at all the natural outdoor experience I had so enjoyed. So I designed and made one myself with a lot of help (teasing, leg pulling and helpful observations such as "It will never get out of the Kitchen") from my friends. Since then I have been introducing my friends and family to outdoor hot tubbing. Having built one for my brother, he suggested setting up "Traditional Hot Tubs". One of the first things people ask, or are embarrassed about asking, is what to wear in the tub. That is completely up to you but I and my friends are British so we all wear swim suits!
Our Aim
To promote hot tub use in the UK at an affordable price without compromising quality. The hot tubs we produce are practical and affordable. Because we have no import duty and expensive shipping costs we are able to pass these savings on to you. Please have a look around at our competitors. We supply the tub and you decide what level of equipment you want to fit it out with. Solar panels, gas heater, petrol pumps, wood burning stoves, electric heating, heat exchangers on your central heating are all options and we can even arrange heat pump installation.
